Our Wedding (Post #4)

This kiss, this kiss!  I have a feeling that if we weren't surrounded by family and friends, we would have ended up on the sand...  A moment I reflect on often and one of my favorite pictures!  And now we are man and wife.  Let the party begin!

Our Wedding (Post #3)

Honeyman's brother, "Reverend" Bob, married us.  The ceremony was mostly based on the Father of the Bride wedding ceremony, however we wrote our own vows.  We both got misty and shaky and laughed a little too.  Everyone moved in close, so we were surrounded by our family and friends.

Our Wedding (Post #2)

Our day is finally here!  I did most of the prep work - 'cause I love that kind of thing - and the people at The Princess Royale were fantastic!  We did a rehearsal and had dinner the night before, of which I have no pictures...or at least cannot find them 8 years later!  And the night before we had a pre-party in our room as some of the guests arrived.

But here the day begins:

Top Left: Me with my "Bridesboys" who squired me around and helped me stay on time.
Top Right: One last look.
Bottom Left: View of our ceremony site.
Bottom Right: The Mulfinger Boys - (from the right) Honeyman, his brother (who married us) and his son.

Top Middle: Callie, my bridesmaid.
Top Right: Waiting for it all to begin.
Bottom: My parents escorting me "down the aisle" - the sandy aisle.

Our Wedding (Post #1)

I married my best friend back in 2003...and started working on my wedding album in January 2011.  It's now November 2011 and I'm still not done!  Maybe for our 9th anniversary!

We got married on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland and our theme was beachy - but not over-the-top.  Our colors were shades of periwinkle blue (from dark to light) with an accent of pink.  My mother made my dress and my honeyman's shirt.  We had the best day, best wedding weekend really, and I would do it all over, again and again...it was better than Cats.

Mom and Me Album (Post #1)

For my mom's birthday a few years back, I decided to make her an album.  The theme I chose was "Mom and Me" - and it can be viewed from her persepective, her and her mom - or from my perspective my mom and me (and granny).

She loves flutterby's and flowers and her garden, so I chose papers and embellishments that reminded me of her spending time outside in the garden.  This is a chipboard album, all the paper was glued down, trimmed away and filed down so the edges are nice and smooth, then they were inked for an aged look.  All the pictures had their corners rounded and edges inked (and all mats too).  Shadowed Cricut titles and ribbons on the rings make the perfect fininishing touch!
